VACANCY FOR A MECHANICAL INSPECTOR (GOODS IN)

 THE JOB

· Based in our Goods Inwards Department, the person will be responsible for the mechanical inspection of castings, machinings and sheet metal parts, together with mouldings, sub-assemblies, treatments & consumables.

THE PERSON

· Previous experience of a similar position in a similar environment essential.

· Experience of using a Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) would be advantageous, together with Verniers, Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges, etc.

· PC skills also required for batching, etc.

THE PACKAGE

· The salary will be commensurate with the skills & experience of the successful candidate.

· 5 weeks holiday plus Bank Holidays, Sick Pay Scheme, Private Medical Insurance, contributory pension scheme, subsidised canteen, and 38.5 hour basic working week with lunchtime finish on Fridays. Overtime opportunities may be available.
